Optional airbag module As a supplementary safety feature to seat belt, steering wheel can be designed to incorporate airbag module to reduce the risk of injury to the driver during an accident. Autoliv Hirotako has the expertise and experience as a module integrator as we are a tier-one supplier to Proton, the first Malaysian National car project. Additionally, Passenger airbag and Side airbag can also be incorporated into the design.

OTHER FEATURES
To suit the specific requirements of our customers, our steering wheels can be designed to accommodate audio system control switches, handphone control switches, auto cruise, horn and emblem.

The steering wheel frames can range from a light weight magnesium die-casted frame to a lower cost steel-welded frame to suit the image positioning and cost planning target of the customer.
